Amara Investigation Court Ratifies Confessions of an Accused who Impersonated an Officer at Anti-Terrorism and Popular Mobilization

Amara Investigation Court of Presidency of Myssan Appeal Court ratified the confessions of an accused who had impersonated an officer at Anti-Terrorism Service and Commission of Popular Mobilization to blackmail the citizens.

The security forces arrested an accused who had impersonated a major at the Anti-Terrorism Service and a first lieutenant at Commission  of Popular Mobilization. He was found in possession of fake identity cards as well as a gun and he had blackmailed the citizens in Amara center of the governorate , a statement of the Media Center of the Supreme Judicial Council reported.

The statement indicated that Amara Investigation Court took all the proceedings against the accused and ratified his confessions in accordance with the Decision (160) of 1983.
