A court of investigation in Beni Saad, headed by Diyala Appellant Court , has confirmed the statements of a man whose killed three of his children in Bani Saad district as a result of family disputes.
"The accused confessed to the investigating judge that he had killed his three children as a result of their refusal to return to Mandali (his former home), which led to a deep dispute between the parties," the media center's correspondent said.
"The culprit, the father, rose from his sleep and went to his shop in the same house and brought a Kalashnikov rifle packed and stuffed with one magazine and carried out the crime, according to his confessions," the reporter added.
The accused killed his children while they were sleeping in one room and shot his fourth son in order to kill him, but he escaped after he closed the door of his room," he said.
The reporter pointed out that "the court has confirmed his statements and all procedures have been taken against them in accordance with Article 406/1 / A of the Iraqi Penal Code".
