Life Imprisonment for Syrian Woman Convicted on Terrorism Charge

Central  Criminal Court of Presidency of Baghdad /Rusafa Federal Appeal Court sentenced to life in prison for a  Syrian woman convicted on terrorism charge.

The convict admitted  to illegally  entering Iraqi territory to Mosul from Syrian territory , the statement of the  Media Center of the Supreme Judicial Council said.

She was living in Tal Afer with her terrorist husband , is Azerbaijani citizen, who was killed by security forces.

It pointed out that the court found the evidences were sufficient  to criminalize the convict in accordance with article(4) of Anti-Terrorism Act No.(13) of 2005.
