Basra Investigation Ratifies Confessions of Accused of Shooting and Thefts

Third Basra Investigation Court of Presidency of Basra Federal Appeal Court ratified statements of accused on charge of shooting at barbershop in Jama'eiat area.

The accused admitted before the investigative judge that he had scrimmage  in barbershop so that he and other accused shot fire by Kalashnikov and then they fled by motorcycle to Saad Sequar , a reporter of the Supreme Judicial Council  said.

The reporter added the accused called his friend to go back togather to fire the persons with whom he had  quarreled but when they reached , they found it was locked .During that the accused saw black Tahoe car and thought it was a government detachment chasing them so that they  shot it and escaped but then turning out , it belongs to a judge.  

The accused admitted to participating in seven house thefts in Basra . His statements were recorded  in accordance with article (4/1) and pursuant to article (2/1) of Anti –Terrorism Act No.(13) of 2005 then he was referred to a trial court to be punished fairly.
