Central Criminal Court of Presidency of Baghdad/Rusafa Federal Appeal Court sentenced a convicted to life in prison on killing her husband's child by electrocution because of family disputes.
The convicted admitted in preliminary and judicial investigations that she had electrocuted his husband's son , born 2015, because he wet his bed . She claimed that she had not intended to kill him, she just want to frighten him, a statement of the Media Center of the Supreme Judicial Council reported.
The father of the victim said that before he went to the work, there had been misunderstand between him and his wife (the convicted) because of family disputes so that she killed the victim, the statement added.
The court found that the evidences are sufficient and satisfactory to convict the accused in accordance with article (406/1/a/c) of Penal Code.
