President of the Republic receives President of the Supreme Judicial Council

On Tuesday 2020.6.2, The President of the Republic , Dr. Barham Salih received the President of the Supreme Judicial Council at Al- Salam Palace in Baghdad.

During the meeting, the role of  Iraqi judiciary to establish the justice and to implement law through resolving corruption files and punishment those surpass the public property  was discussed. They stressed the importance of the cooperation and coordination among three authorities to review laws in force and  to work for preparation of laws and legislations which are required by the next stage. The principle of separation between authorities and the full support to independence of the judiciary was emphasized.
