President of Supreme Judicial Council receives British Ambassador

The President of the Supreme Judicial Council, judge Dr. Faiq Zidan received the Ambassador of UK to Iraq  Mr. Stephen Hicky at his office on Wednesday, September 23, 2020.

Judge Faiq Zidan discussed with the British Ambassador the efforts of the government and the judiciary to provide protection to the diplomatic missions and the legal procedures taken against those assault these missions. He also discussed the judicial and legal cooperation between the Iraqi judiciary and UNITAD, a statement of the Media Center of the Supreme Judicial Council said.
