Twenty-six police officers were granted the investigator power after participating in the qualification course held at the Judicial Institute, which lasted for three months, pursuant to the provisions of Article (51/e) of Criminal Procedure Code.

On Monday26.7.2021, the officers participating in the qualifying course were sworn by the Chief of Rusafa Appeal Court, Judge Emad Al-Jabri, to carry out their work, the reporter of the Media Center of the Supreme Judicial Council stated.

The Chief of Appeal indicated the role of the investigation officer must be characterized by honesty and credibility, adding that the beginning of every criminal case begins with the investigation officer who writes down the statements of the two parties to the case.

Judge Al-Jabri praised the role of the investigation officer in police stations because of its importance in revealing the truth and bringing criminals to justice so that they are punished fairly.
