10 years imprisonment for drug dealers

Central Criminal Court of Presidency of Baghdad /Rusafa Federal Appeal Court sentenced two convicts to ten years in prison on the crime of drug trafficking in violation of the law.

the convicts had admitted in the preliminary and judicial investigation to drug-selling and disseminating narcotic crystal after they were caught with possession of 20g of crystal,1286 pills of zero type, 3 pipes, and 3 lighter, the reporter of the Media Center of the Supreme Judicial Council said.

He added the security forces arrested them in Al-Shaab area under the supervision of an investigative judge. the convicts were sentenced in accordance with article (28/first) of Narcotic Drug and Psychotropic Substances Act No.50 of 2017.
