Chief of Rusafa Appeal discusses with internal officers addressing the phenomenon of electronic blackmail, beggars and domestic violence

The Chief of Rusafa Federal Appeal Court, Judge Emad Al-Jabri, discussed on Tuesday, 14.9.2021 with the Director of Relations and Media at the Ministry of Interior, Major General Saad Maan , the Community Police Director General Ghalb Attia , a number of community police officers, and the director of religious guidance of the ministry, the electronic blackmail and other important issues.

Both parties discussed the phenomenon of electronic blackmail, which has recently been deployed through social networking sites, the spread of begging in the streets of Baghdad, as well as domestic violence. They also discussed address them in accordance with the law, the Media Center of the Supreme Judicial Council said.

The Chief of appeal said begging networks used children as a means of obtaining money, making them victims of these networks, stressing the implementation of human trafficking law against these children, as well as the need to provide a secure place for them. The presidency of appeal court supports all efforts by community police to combat begging, homeless persons, and family violence to preserve Iraqi society from these exotic phenomena on society.
