The Judicial Institute has completed a reconstruction and rehabilitation campaign for its dorm building during a six-month work that showed the building in a new look.
The correspondent of the Media Center of the Supreme Judicial Council stated that the campaign was directed and supervised by the President of the Supreme Judicial Council Judge Ph.D. Faiq Zaidan and under direct field supervision by the Director-General of the Judicial Institute Mrs. Faten Mohsen Hadi, and was funded by the Fund for Community Initiatives (Tamkeen) supervised by the Central Bank of Iraq and the Association of Iraqi Banks.
"This step was made for the Supreme Judicial Council and the administration of the Judicial Institute to provide the appropriate academic climate for the institute's students after the building had been dilapidated throughout the previous period," said Mrs. Faten Mohsen Hadi, director-general of the Judicial Institute.
the director-general indicated that "The construction work included the building of the dorm in full and the surrounding parts according to a well-thought-out engineering plan for the reconstruction and rehabilitation of all the building rooms, the replacement of floors within the apartments of the dorm, the processes of dyeing, the rehabilitation of electrical wiring and lighting, and the replacement of all sewage systems of the building according to a new design model, which we aim to serve the most number of students living in the dorm,".
"The last phase of the reconstruction included the furnishing of the dorm of sober origins, as well as the restoration of the front and side facades of the building and its covering with the material of red bricks to suit the urban format of the building of the judicial institute, in addition to the rehabilitation and dyeing of all the front and rear facades of the building," she confirmed.
The Director-General of the Judicial Institute thanked the donors who contributed to the reconstruction and rehabilitation of this important edifice, praising the role of the Governor of the Central Bank, Mr. Mustafa Ghalib, for this step, which is aimed at serving and caring for the lone sponsor for the graduation of judges.
